Dr. Ayers specializes in pediatric hepatology at UPMC’s Children’s Hospital in Pittsburgh. She is also an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at the University of Pittsburgh Medical School. Dr. Ayers is active in both the North American Society for Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition (NASPGHAN) and the American Academy of Pediatrics.
